INTENDED USE:
Blood bag intended for the collection of up to 3L whole blood.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Anticoagulant of users preference (e.g CPD, CPDA, ACD) can be added through any of the three connection ports and should be added at the manufacturers recommended volume for the calculated volume of blood to be collected from the donor.
Weight of bag and anticoagulant should be taken into account prior to blood collection to allow calculation of volume collected using a weighing method (scales)
Collection ports are sealed until the entry port is breached by twisting off the seal and inserting a sterile injection spike or similar. Injection spikes, without vents and with a needle free access port (NAC) can be used to provide luer/syringe connection.
12G siliconized sharp needle to ensure smooth venipuncture.
Long collection line allows tailored gravity flow rates onto a flat or suspended scale with the potential to allow rapid draw times for large donors and flexible location of suction units away from the donor.
No snap valves in collection lines reduces the chance of clots or sluggish flow within the line.
